Ivy and her poison

I may have my issues about Siberian Huskies living in tropical weather. How!? But there’s no denying that the Husky is one magnificent creature!

I recently came across one — her name was Ivy.

Her wolfish lines, the regal spine, hypnotic eyes — her sheer presence captivated me. Without realising, I walked straight towards her, stood right before and went, “You beauty”.

And she turned her face away.

Huh? How? What? Why?

It took me a moment to realise what had happened. Ivy didn’t like me walking full frontal towards her — its too intimidating for dogs. That’s why she turned her face; one way of letting me know to keep my distance.

I did just that. In a while Ivy came to me. And we bonded. She taught me a lesson — what’s good for Ivy and what’s poison 🙂
